FAQ

Q: How far in advance should I shop for my gown?
Styles do change from year to year, however since gowns take 3-4 months to order you should begin looking 9-12 months in advance. It is important to bring with you someone whose opinion you value, so you can decide what looks best on you. The best way to get ideas is to look through magazines so you know what you are looking for!

Q: My plan is to lose weight before my wedding, should I purchase a smaller sized gown than I presently wear?

This is not recommended. A gown is always easier to be taken in, than let out. Generally alterations cannot increase the size of a gown, they can however make a slighly loose gown fit perfectly. Q: I am a petite size, what style gown will look best on me?
There are no set guidelines, but Bridal Images will help you find the best look for you. For the petite bride - we recommend long graceful lines, such as an A-line gown. Trims and accents should be scaled smaller.
